How did Sentry start?
Sentry started as a hobby, when Luke, our founder, wanted to use his evenings for something he enjoys doing. With lots of extra time on his hands because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Luke ventured to help businesses with their written content because that's what he loves doing.
As time went on, Luke found a real passion for creating content for businesses and working with clients, and decided it was time to take to the next step. After spending time developing services to bring the best value for clients, Sentry Collective was born.
We help businesses by elevating their digital presence by building trust with their audience and creating meaningful first impressions through effective content marketing.
We've invested lots of time into our services to understand our clients needs and the value we can bring. We offer a range of services designed to help you demonstrate your expertise with your future customers and build a digital presence to be proud of.

Why do you offer these services?
Since day one, we have always had a passion for creating content and supporting businesses with developing their digital presence. We love being able to help our clients, spending time to get to know them, their business, and what it is they want to achieve, and then working with them to help them on their journey.
We love what we do, and we are so excited to work with more businesses.
Take Daniel for example, Managing Director and Founder of Refined Creative. Daniel was looking for help with engaging his audience through blogs, and we were more than happy to help. Click here to follow his story.
Why should we use Sentry?
Content marketing is one of the best ways to develop a digital presence and engage with your audience.
The essence of content marketing is all about sharing engaging and useful information with your audience. Rather than selling directly to your audience, it's about sharing content to engage with them and provide them with value. As a result, your audience can engage with your content, building a relationship before approaching them with a sales focus. Additionally, you'll be able to develop your digital presence and your reputation, all through content marketing.
Social media has quickly become a staple in our lives, with an estimated 50%+ of our population using social media.
Therefore, being in the right place online and developing your digital presence is quickly becoming a must-have for businesses.
We absolutely love creating content, and we love working closely with businesses to understand their target audience, their focus, and their passion for what they do.
Therefore, we merged the two together to create a business to be proud of.
We invested our time and our passion into developing the services that we offer today to help businesses reap the benefits of good content marketing and we spend time to understand each of our clients in detail and build a good working relationship. We care deeply about the clients that we work with and take the time it needs to support them as best we can.
If content marketing and working with a business who wants the best for you is what you're looking for, look no further!
How long have you been in business?
They say time flies when you love what you do, and it couldn't be more true for us.
We have years of experience in creating content for businesses, and decided that the time was right to set up on our own. Therefore, we officially launched Sentry Collective on the 12th of April, 2021. And it only feels like yesterday!
What values does Sentry have?
We pride ourselves on our values because they help us to not only deliver great content, but a great experience as well. Our values are as follows:
Simplicity - We don't over-complicate things; we keep it simple but effective.
Trustworthy - Our clients can trust us to deliver, as we trust them to work with us.
Loyalty - It's a two-way street, and when done correctly, it brings some great results.
Robust - Our processes aren't made on a whim, we've made sure they work and constantly look to improve them.
Fun! - Life is too short. We take pride in what we do and have fun along the way.

How do you ensure consistency in your content?
We've invested lots of time into creating clear process guides that detail how we create our great content. We firmly believe that we should have a unified approach to creating great content for your business, so you can expect consistently great content every month.
We did this so that no matter who creates the content, it follows our same methodology and allows us to grow and support more clients as we continue on our journey.
How much does it cost?
We have a couple of different packages available to support businesses with different requirements or needs.
Our packages start at £350 per calendar month. For more information on what's included in each package, please click here.
It's estimated that over 50% of our population uses social media - and that number continues to grow. That's just social media.
Since it's inception, social media has taken the world by storm and has become one of the most prominent ways that people communicate with each other. Because it's become such a large part of people's day-to-day, people use social media as part of their shopping habits or when learning more about a company.
As a result, it's now a great opportunity for businesses to engage with their audience directly.
Combining this with the importance of a website, and it's clear how valuable a strong digital presence can be for businesses. In short - yes!
What is the main purpose of a digital presence?
Your digital presence is one of the few forms of marketing that doesn't focus directly on selling.
It sounds odd, but it's true.
It's all about building connections and creating strong first impression with your audience. If you share content that people can learn from, it forms a positive profile of your business without even having a conversation. If you demonstrate your expertise and share content that's helpful for your audience, you'll build a rapport as an expert in your industry and hopefully the business to turn to for support when they need it.
Relationships are one of the most valuable things in a business, and they can only happen if you're focusing on providing value to, and engaging with, your audience.
Do I need a blog?
Like social media, a blog isn't focused on selling directly to your audience, but rather sharing valuable information with them to help them.
Many businesses are fearful of sharing information as they worry they're giving their secrets away, and potential clients won't need them, but this often isn't the case. By building a blog packed with value, you can demonstrate your expertise and help your audience to learn about topics that otherwise they may not have known about, and may find that they really need the help of a professional. Conveniently enough, they're already on your website!
It's a great opportunity to drive traffic to your website whilst building your business reputation.
How often should I post on social media and our blog?
How often you post on social media and on a blog depends very much on your goals for your content marketing, however, a good rule of thumb is to post on social media 1-3 times a week, and 1-2 articles on your blog per month (for a small business).
This means you're not overloading your audience with content, or worse, rushing content out that isn't great, but it's often still enough to keep active with your audience online and continue sharing that value with them.
Because social media is about sharing nuggets of information and keeping your audience informed, it's good to post more frequently than a blog. An article is often packed with lots of good content, but because of the typical length of a blog, any more than 1-2 per month means your audience may miss articles or stop reading through them.
